Nick is an experienced composer and arranger, having gained his Master of Music post-graduate degree in composition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under the expert tuition of Gwyn Pritchard, John Lely, John Ashton Thomas, Deirdre Gribbin and Dominic Murcott.
His works range from a complete orchestral suite, ensemble pieces in various instrument combinations, many piano solo and piano duet pieces, and several popular music songs. Influences include classical music from Bach to contemporary classical, popular music from the 1960s to present day, musical theatre, and electronic and computer-generated music.
Nick is also an accomplished arranger, penning arrangements for choirs in many formats from 3-part to 8-part, both with accompaniment and ‘A Capella’. He has also written full performance arrangements for concert band and orchestra.
