Using the harmonic palette of Maurice Ravel as the basis, this work is a piece for solo piano which explores the use of extended chords, dissonance, and unexpected modulation.The right hand provides all the melodic interest plus a continuous running semiquaver accompaniment, whilst the left hand gives more gentle harmonic support.
